Costo is a Finnish design company, with designs and products that are highly recognized for their quality, materials, cuts and sustainable solutions. Our products sold online are an assortment of only unique and limited edition items.
The terms and conditions listed below will apply between customer and Costo webstore for the sale and purchase of the products contained in customers shopping cart. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter or update these terms and conditions, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, changes, or updates on subsequent visits.
These terms and conditions of sale are valid as of October 1st, 2011, until further notice.
Shipping and delivery terms
We use Finnish postal service, Finland Post Corporation for both domestic and international shipping. Orders are processed in 1 - 2 days and delivered by mail worldwide from Helsinki, Finland. The shopping cart will show shipping costs after selecting delivery method. Delivery will follow only after a valid credit card payment.
Estimated delivery times and costs for:
Finland: Delivery within 2 – 7 days from day of payment.
EU countries: Delivery within 4 – 14 days from day of payment.
Other countries: Delivery within 7 – 30 days from day of payment.
Costo webstore has the right to cancel the order, if it is suspicions arise, that the concerned credit
card is not valid or might be stolen. In this case customer will be contacted and informed by
email. If there will occur a problem with your order or shipment we will contact you as soon as possible.
Methods of payment
The following methods of payment are available for the users of the webstore: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken and credit cards. Online payments are made by using the website of Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.
Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard
If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Costo Oy will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy.
With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy is also the recipient of the payment.

Online banks
Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy (FI21228397) provides the financial and payment service for online payment in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Suomen Verkkomaksut Oy buys the payment and disburses it to the seller. For the customer the service functions like a conventional online payment.
All prices at Costo webstore are VAT included (Value Added Tax 23%). Customer is responsible for the import customs clearance and payment of customs duties and taxes in there homeland.
Please do not write your credit card information on our feedback forms or include it in emails to us. Costo reserves the right to refuse the payment and thereby order. We also reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
Return policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, or if you receive faulty or wrong item, you may return or exchange it for another item. When returning items, please contact us within 14 days after receiving your order. If you do not contact us within that time, we reserve the right not to accept returned items. We only return costumers payment if the product is untapped, and this within 14 days.
Law and Jurisdiction
Finnish law will be applied to all disputes arising under this User Agreement. All disputes arising under this agreement which cannot be solved by mutual agreement, shall be solved in the district court of Helsinki.
